Fenway Artists Today

The community of Fenway Studios includes artists who have achieved distinction in portraiture, landscape, and still-life painting, as well as mural and decorative art, abstract, conceptual, and imaginative painting, print-making, and other modes and styles. Artists who work on art restoration and frame conservation also work at the Studios.

Many of the Fenway artists are professors and instructors in local colleges and universities, including the Massachusetts College of Art, the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston University, Tufts University, and Harvard. Some of New England's most prestigious galleries in New England and New York, and beyond, represent the artists in residence today.

Some artists also give private instruction to students in their studios, a few of them continuing the Boston School of painting tradition, where the Fenway Studios began.
