Henry Gates

Henry Gates of studio 210 came to study art with Judy Ryan in 2010, and took a studio in 2013. His life practice of art was secondary to a career in religion and psychology; being also a Registered Art Therapist. His art proceeds from the Art Institute onto a clay studio at the Artist Building; earlier he studied at the Museum School. His painting studies French art history, and develops narration and figurative art; while he may also compose still life. Gates also teaches a psychology of art when possible.
